Welcome to Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District. ​

Our district was founded on the premise that no citizen be denied access to responsive, high-quality emergency care due to a lack of transportation. Our vision was, and continues to be, to provide Excellence in Patient Care and Public Service.


Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District has a dedicated, well-trained staff and a fleet of state-of-the-art vehicles, making us one of the premier ambulance providers in North Louisiana. Our success has come from hiring the best employees in the business and from listening to the needs and concerns of our citizens.

We are the 911 emergency ambulance provider to the residents of Jackson Parish. We provide ALS (advanced life support) and BLS (basic life support) emergency transports.  We also provide non-emergency stretcher ambulance transports to those residents that meet medical necessity.

Beyond the lights and sirens of an ambulance service, we remain committed to working with our local governments, healthcare systems, businesses, and civic and non-profit leaders on projects promoting and enhancing wellness, health, education, and safety in our parish.

By providing medical coverage for special events, speaking to local groups, providing education, and holding health fairs, we continue to positively impact the lives of the people in our community.
